I think that this generation saw The Dark Knight and it made them interested in Batman, either re-interested or they discovered him this way.
That is not even remotely bad. People should enjoy Batman.
However I think that teenagers nowadays are using the goddamned Batman as some sort of “nerd cred for sexy” accessory.
