I was planning to write a “Lonely Dictator” series with the thought in mind that Kim-Jong Il was actually a robot piloted by a space cockroach and therefore immortal.

That way humanizing his self-indulgent isolation would have then been regarded as satire instead of, like, actual sympathy.
